Great Quality - Great Price - you don't often see those few words used in the same sentence, but this was the founding principle behind Vehicle Performance Systems.

Our management team counts some of the leading automotive suppliers in the world among our Aftermarket and OEM experience, including Bosch, Hella and VDO. In my own case, I was with Hella for 19 years, 16 of those as President & COO. We have always enjoyed representing great products, and working for these companies, we know great quality when we see it.

One of the challenges that large companies face is a high cost structure. Delivering great quality is rarely a problem, but delivering great quality at a great price is always a challenge. One thing I learned over my 25+ years in the automotive aftermarket and OEM market is that great quality doesn't have to cost more…..if you have a system of product development that begins with the needs of the customer, and if your production system is geared from the beginning to be leaner and more flexible.

You will find great quality products that come from the large companies that are built under a strict QS9000 quality system. You will also find great quality products from VPS that are built under a strict QS9000 quality system.

How do we do it? Easy….we started VPS from scratch with a lean production and supply system rather than try to convert a high cost system into an efficient one. It is a big advantage if a company recognizes and avoids the extra costs that build up over the years right from the beginning.

So, what is the difference between a product from VPS and from one of the big guys? You won't see any difference in quality, but you will notice a difference on the invoice. Our commitment to you is that you will receive the same or higher quality at a lower price, with better, more personal service.
